Our Ranch is Bowhunting Only...
This page has been set up to share photo's and stories of the great times we will have at our ranch in east Texas. My friend Mike and I purchased the Buck & Bass ranch in May of 2007. We have had several of our friends come out and assist us in getting new roads put in throughout the property, as well as strategically placing blinds on the ranch. With the additional leaseback, the ranch is close to 80 acres. Lot's of deer, hogs and varmints on the ranch. Stay tuned for more great photo's coming your way from the Buck & Bass Ranch. Well, we broke ground today (9/9/07) and are putting in our first food plot on the ranch.
(9/15/07) More progress... Field was disc harrowed and seeds were planted this weekend.

We also brushed in a ground blind under the big box blind on the food plot. More fun to come...
Looks like our food plot is starting to show some growth. We do need some rain now. Mike put down fertilizer over the weekend 10/7/07.

THE BUCK AND BASS ORCHARD WAS ESTABLISHED ON JANUARY 20TH 2008
Here is a photo of the 16 fruit trees we planted. We also put in poles for our grape vines, and tilled rows for our blueberries and blackberries. Note the electric fence we installed around the orchard. We will do what we can to keep animals out until the orchard has had a chance to mature.
